My five year old niece the comedian!

Yesterday my Sister and I took my niece on the bus to go to a park, as we both had a day off. My niece is five and so cute, I just love hanging out with her partly because I love her to bits but also because she makes me laugh whenever I see her. She’s always been funny without trying and basically I think all little kids are natural clowns. I work in a nursery and the kids there always put a big smile on my face just by being themselves! My niece is getting to a stage where she loves it when adults laugh and whenever they do she joins in really loudly even though she doesn’t really understand the joke.
Recently we all went to a family wedding and in the reception the best man was giving a brilliant and very witty Best Man’s Speech and after every joke the adults would laugh (one of which was a rather adult joke about Laser Hair Removal Manchester) and then a few seconds later my niece would laugh like a satellite link up type delay! Then after she laughed the adults would laugh again at her enjoying it so much! It was brilliant. Yesterday on the bus I tried to teach her a “Knock Knock” joke. When I reached the punch line “Dr Who”she looked at me blankly. “That’s the joke”, I said, “That’s the funny bit”. Then a second later she was roaring her head off and everyone on the bus was wondering what was so funny! Then she wanted to lead the joke, which she did very well to be fair, with a bit of prompting that is! We had such a great day in the park together and all day my niece was asking us to teach her more and more jokes. After we’d gone through the “Why did the chicken cross the road”jokes me and my sister started to run out of child friendly ideas, until I remembered the classic “what’s brown and sticky?”"A stick”which my niece adored, although she didn’t really know why!
