Life’s Rich Tapestry.

Most of us have wondered about certain things from time to time like should I have Botox or shouldn’t I or For example, how do birds know which way to fly when they are migrating? How do cattle know when it is going to rain? And what is the strange link that exists between identical twins?
Life is full of mystery and wonder; that is what makes it so very interesting. There are several theories which go out to answer these questions but none of them are concrete. Perhaps it is evidence of God’s existence in all things? Could it all be down to instinct? Maybe Carl Jung was right when he came up with his idea of ‘racial memory’. Or could it be that there are other energies within and around us that we do not yet understand?
It is good to think about things like this because we often forget about the complexities of our existence. Careers, families and possessions can all get in the way sometimes and life becomes humdrum and mundane. If we step away from that now and again we can see there are all kinds of other things around us which are deeply mysterious and magical.
This is an age of science; where everything is explained away in a rather cold and detached manner. But science tends to blag its way through a lot of things. It still cannot give us the answers that we really want. In a way, this is actually a good thing. If we were suddenly able to understand all of the great mysteries that are around us there would no longer be any sense of wonder. We would be unable to sit and ponder the many strange things around us which cannot be understood.
Maybe it is to do with God, and maybe He was wise enough to keep us all guessing…
Who knows, onto more important things - Chalets booking sorted out everybody, I am really excited about our long weekend trip. I need part of the cost by next monday.
